I have felt the call to vocational ministry on my life since I was in middle school. Throughout my teenage and college years God allowed me to serve in my local church with youth and young adult ministry. After graduating from Liberty University with a degree in Christian Ministries I knew that I wanted to serve in ministry full time. My wife, Carlee has spent years working with the kids, youth, and young adult ministries in our local church. Our similar callings lived out in different spaces, allow us to collaborate and co-labor for the Gospel more effectively. Carlee and I want our hearts for God and reaching His people to be evident in everything we do.
After moving to North Carolina in late 2022, I had no idea what full-time ministry would look like. God opened so many doors of opportunity to allow me to combine my greatest passion of sharing the Gospel, with my love for athletics. Matthew 28:19-20 states the clear command we have as believers and ministers to “Go” and “make disciples.” FCA is all about reaching students, athletes, coaches and communities for Christ. As an Area Representative, it is an honor to come alongside these coaches and athletes to remind them that their purpose is greater than their athletic performance. God has allowed FCA to become a bridge between the Church and the schools. Making disciples requires intentional effort consistently, and it is exciting to be able to play a small part in that process here in Brunswick County.
